How the IAS examination is conducted?

Union public service commission (UPSC) conducts the examination of IAS. The board has introduced a new pattern of examination for this examination recently. Instead of taking two optional papers, the new pattern has introduced a single optional paper for the examination.

What level you reach after your selection in Indian administrative service?
